Carlos Enrique Veitia Hechavarria is a Cuban saxophonist, trumpeter and composer. He began his career in his home country where he:

Worked with renowned Latin American film composer Osvaldo Montez and singer Andy Montanez
Participated in the famous Cuban band Los Guayabero, performing traditional Cuban and Latin American music and performed with the singer Faustino Orama
Performed with singer Eliades Ochoas performing traditional Cuban music
Worked with Klimax and Giraldo Piloto bands performing popular Cuban music and latin jazz
Worked with renowned Cuban saxophonist Cesar Lopez and his Habana Ensemble
Worked with saxophonist Michel Herrera and his Madre Tierra project
Participated in albums by musicians such as Julito Padron, Rolando Lunas, Rodny Barreto, Gaston Joya and bands such as Rumberos De Cuba
Participated in concerts of jazz pianist Ramon Valle
Received 2nd place in the festival of young jazz musicians JoJazz in 2012
In 2012 he established Jazz Park project. The band blends Cuban rhythms and genres with jazz, which makes its sound unique and different. The project aims to bring Latin jazz and various genres of jazz to the world and new generations.



Participated in the Jazz Plaza festival (Havana, Cuba) in 2014, 2015, 2016 and in the salsa festival Festival De La Salsa (Havana, Cuba) with Klimax Orchestra in 2015 and 2016

In 2018 Carlos moved to Russia where he continued working with his Jazz Park project and in collaboration with various famous projects of different genres.
He worked with such musicians and bands as Elka Band, Maksim, Aleksey Chumakov, Alina Engibaryan, Azat Gaifullin, Under Influence, Oleg Butman, Marsell, Dimash Kydaibergen, Fidel Alejandro band and others where he gained experience playing for small audiences as well as in stadium type of performances with maximum of 40,000 people
He worked in famous Vecherniy Urgant evening show aired daily for multi-million audience at the primary TV channel together with Frukty Band

With different jazz bands he participated in such festivals as Jazz Seasons in 2019, Rainy Days in 2020 and 2022, Moscow Jazz Festival, Ural Music Night in 2022
With his Jazz Park band he participated in such contests and festivals as Usadba Jazz Sochi in 2019, Jazz Seasons in 2020, Ever Jazz in 2022
He holds permanent residency in the biggest Jazz Club in Moscow – Kozlov Club, where he does monthly performances since 2019
